Le Cours Compétition
Cours ouvert aux personnes qui pratiquent ou souhaitent pratiquer la compétition en Rhythm N’Blues.
Nécessité de s’inscrire en couple (il n’y aura pas de changement de partenaire).
The Competition Class
This workshop is open to dancers who are currently competing or wish to start competing in Rhythm N’Blues.
Registration in pairs is required (there will be no partner rotation).
Niveaux - Levels
Niveau Débutant
C’est pour vous si… Vous dansez le Rhythm N’Blues seulement depuis quelques semaines. Vous apprenez encore les pas de base et le guidage simple.
Objectif : Découvrir le plaisir de la connexion, maîtriser les fondamentaux et pouvoir danser sur un morceau entier en soirée en vous amusant !
Niveau Intermédiaire
C’est pour vous si… Vous dansez régulièrement depuis 1 ou 2 ans. Les bases sont acquises et fluides. Vous commencez à être à l’aise sur des tempos un peu plus rapides et vous connaissez quelques variations.
Objectif : Enrichir votre vocabulaire, améliorer votre technique de guidage/écoute et commencer à jouer avec la musique.
Niveau Avancé
C’est pour vous si… Vous dansez depuis plusieurs années et pratiquez très régulièrement en social. Vous maîtrisez les changements de rythmes, les jeux de jambes complexes et vous savez adapter votre danse aux tempos rapides comme très lents. Vous cherchez à affiner votre style personnel.
Objectif : Travailler les nuances, l’interprétation musicale poussée et la créativité dans l’improvisation.
Level 1: Beginner
This is for you if… You have only been dancing Rhythm N’Blues for a few weeks. You are still learning the basic steps and simple leading/following.
Goal: To discover the joy of connection, master the fundamentals, and be able to dance through an entire song and have fun on the social dance floor!
Level 2: Intermediate
This is for you if… You have been dancing regularly for 1 or 2 years. The basics are solid and fluid. You are starting to feel comfortable with faster tempos and you know a few variations.
Goal: To enrich your vocabulary, improve your leading/following technique, and start playing with the music.
Level 3: Advanced
This is for you if… You have been dancing for several years and are a very regular social dancer. You have mastered rhythm changes and complex footwork, and you can adapt your dance to both fast and very slow tempos. You are looking to refine your personal style.
Goal: To work on nuances, advanced musicality, and creativity in improvisation.
